Expo 2020 – UAE Pavilion

About the Project

The UAE Pavilion is a four-storey structure comprising a total area of 15,000 square metres. The distinct fan-shaped architecture was inspired by a falcon's wing in flight, symbolically representing the pioneering spirit of the Emirates. It was designed by renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. The pavilion comprises a two-storey exhibition centre, an enormous hospitality lounge, a mezzanine for entertainment events, an auditorium, food and beverage outlets, and VIP seating areas.
